The cycle route starts at skradin and follows the Krka river upstream to Skradinski buk waterfall, and from here returns along the same route to Skradin.


Tour to Skradin will take you to another world, a distant and mystical history of this region, but also to another, emerald green Dalmatia, due to abundance of water of the river Krka.
The ancient town of Skradin – the oldest town in the region, inhabited since Neolithic for over 5500 years. The capital of the Illyrian Liburnia, the Roman Scardona, the early – Christian diocese from the 4th century, and the capital of medieval Croatia in the 14th century.
Today this charming little town represents the sea entrance to the National Park Krka and a favourite nautical destination.
With its seven travertine waterfalls the Krka River is a natural and karst phenomenon that is going to keep you breathless on every step of your visit!


Skradin - Visovac - Skradin

The cycle route start begins at Skradin and heads up to the paved road to the settlement of Dubravice ,before descending to the Remetic dock for the boat to Visovac island.From here,the route returns back to Skradin.


Visovac Island is among Croatia's most valuable natural and cultural values.

The Franciscan Monastery of Our Lady of Mercy, and the Church of Our Lady of Visovac, have stood here since 1445. With their magnificent grounds, they form a unique entity.

The monastery houses a valuable archaeological collection, a collection of historical church linens and dishes anda rich library, with several historical manuscripts, valuable books and incunabula. Due to the centuries of worship of the Mother of God, this island is often called Our Lady’s Island.


Skradin - Roski slap - Skradin

The cycle route begins at Skradin,and heads up to Dubravice and Rupe,before descending to the Roski slap.From here,the route returns back to Skradin.


Roški slap is also called the 'vast waterfall', and is made up of a 22.5 m high main waterfall and countless backwaters, cascades and travertine islands.

Roški slap is situated about 36 km downstream of the Krka River spring. The start of the barrier is made up of a series of small cascades (called the 'necklace' by the locals), followed by numerous backwaters and islets.  Between Roški waterfall and Oziđana pećina cave there are 517 wooden steps.

Over the waterfall, there is a road that dates back to Roman times. Throughout most of Roški slap, the natural environment is pristine and of great interest to nature lovers. On the left bank are a series of attractive water mills, several of which have been restored and returned to their original function.

The complex of water mills at Roški slap is among the most interesting and prized ethnographic monuments in Dalmatia and Croatia.
